Webinar: Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency in Football

Webinar: Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency in Football

The average European football match generates 0.8 kg of waste per spectator. This equates to 750,000 tonnes per year when all matches organised by European national football associations are taken into account. Moving to a circular model for resources is critical to reduce the environmental impact of football, and sport more widely.

Do you work in football or sport and are you thinking about:

  • Implementing circular economy practices within your club operations?
  • Enhancing resource efficiency at your stadium or venue?
  • Reducing waste and extending the lifecycle of your facilities and equipment?
  • Engaging fans and stakeholders through sustainable initiatives?

Watch now to hear from:

  • Thom Rawson, Sustainability Lead, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, Founder of Sustainable Football
  • Florin Şari, Public Policy and Social Responsibility Manager, Romanian Football Federation
  • Míde Ní Shúilleabháin, Sustainability Advisor Green Club Programme, GAA

This webinar is particularly applicable for:

  • Facilities, stadium and venue managers
  • Sustainability and CSR managers
  • Those responsible for purchasing or procurement
